Bright yellow is perfect.

My yellow Ultra helmet works beautifully, and I love the MIPS head support. Best fit I have ever gotten in a helmet. Go ahead and order it, you will not regret it.

Clip broke

Had the mini for about 2weeks. Clip broke. Can I get another one without buying all the other stuff?

Fit perfect

Some improvements to be made

Everyone can see me now! Nice and bright colored helmet. The light is super bright, easily pops into the magnetic recess of the helmet. Has a easy charger for it. Battery seems to be pretty good on the light, have used for about 8 hours and still going strong. Not noticing the improved airflow too much, but usually wear a hat/cap to soak up sweat anyways.
Complaints: My cheap Giro helmets have more cushion liner for a comfier fit that this helmet. Also wish the adjuster wheel was a tad bigger, feels a little flimsy.

Great service

I ordered a charging cable and was disappointed when the literature said that delivery could take up to 7 weeks. The rep told me it was likely going to be faster. I received it in 6 days from order to delivery! I'm very happy that it came so fast and the new design will probably extend its life.

Looks great, works flawlessly

Love the helmet through and through, only downsides are price and repairability.

Detailed:
I backed this helmet since it was in kickstarter, upgraded with fireflies and recently crashed so I got a new one.
The helmet itself looks really nice, and has a good amount of venting in my opinion. It’s comfortable, the adjustment is quick and easy, and the chin strap works well. You might need to put a little tape on the chin strap to prevent it from loosening slowly but that’s the only issue I’ve had. The finish and look is great, the only point is that it’s of course just plastic so it scratches easy, be gentle with it.
For safety, I highly recommend MIPS, it integrates flawlessly, and it certainly protected me well in my crash, it’s a small investment for what could be a huge upside.
For functionality the lighting works amazing, I used this with the helmet alone for a while and it works great. I recommend a slow flash on the lights as it lets you go bright and stay visible, while maximizing battery life, I try to charge it once a week or so and I can’t remember the last time the battery actually died. Unfortunately repairability seriously concerns me, you’d @have a hard time ever changing this battery, so it may be dead weight in a few years. It can get expensive if you add the fireflies and the whole system, but the helmet is great value for what you get.

Easy and handy

Installs easy. Not suitable if you got something on your luggage carrier or a long jacket. Butt otherwise a handy accesory to add directional signals to your bike.

Excellent light solution

I like the small form factor of the new Firefly Mini. Possible to fix it on all places on a bike. Bright enough even for a day ride.

Handy for charging multiple Fireflies

Being able to easily charge all four Fireflies at once is great. I do wish it folded down smaller, but that’s honestly not the biggest problem ever.

No quality assurance?

It wasn’t working since the magnets were mounted in the wrong orientation.

I hope the replacement will work.

again a stellar performance of Lumos Helmet. Like in the past, when I had problems with my helmet and Lumos went out of their way to satisfy my requirements, even though the helmet was no longer under warranty, also this time the customer service was impaccable. Had a question, wrote an e'mail and received a clear and straight forward answer the next day. No chatbot, no hint to ¨look at our FAQs¨, just phantastic service. You ask, you get an immediate answer. The shipment was swift, correct and traceable. All in all, perfect service. I can only highly recommend Lumos!

Fell off

When trying to signal a right turn on a busy road the entire turn signal came off and fell to the street. While turning around to retrieve it a car ran it over. You need a better security system for keeping the turn signal attached to the handlebars.

What a perfect helmet

The helmet fits, can be adjusted well to the shape of the head and looks good. The direction indicator and lighting work perfectly.
Other cyclists are interested in the company that makes the helmet.
I would need small cards with the address where the helmet can be purchased. There aren't many Lomos helmets in Berlin yet, but many people are interested!

Great product but app needs work

The Firefly operates well with very bright programmed flash sequences and attaches with a very strong magnet that has never fallen out. I wish the battery lasted longer with high brightness levels, and the app for the e-bike helmet ALWAYS asks me to reinstall the firmware each time I turn the helmet on and use the app.
