This short brim replaces the stock brow cushion. It attaches to the inside of the helmet using Velcro. This means your hair gets pulled every time you remove your helmet. Also, the brim doesn’t provide much sun protection. Hopefully the next edition is a plastic visor that securely snaps onto the helmet. This Velcro design makes it seem like Lumos considered a visor an afterthought. It’s better than nothing, but not “ultra” by any stretch.
The fixing is difficult. The glue dots do not stick. Annoying.

The Remote is used. But I payed the full price.The Packaging was opened and the Buttons of the Remote are scratched. And I can`t connect the Remote with my Helm.I am very disappointed and I must think about to order the Fireflys from you. Maybe they will also used? Greatings Karsten Bangert

The best piece of kit I’ve ever bought - lights and indicator and helmet all perfect - only suggestion would be to make it more obvious how to open the indicator to charge it …. Took me a while to work it out !!
This is not what I expected I thought it would be more substantial not value for money
Goed zichtbaar. Past goed. Knipperlicht functioneert prima. Fijn ook dat je het knipperen weer kunt (en moet) uitzetten als je bocht hebt genomen. Dat was bij mijn vorige helm (ander merk) niet het geval. Die ging gewoon door gedurende een vaste tijd. Waardoor ik nog een tijdje knipperend recht door fietste.
I’ve owned three Lumos over the past few years. I recently placed an order (#41840 in case someone from Lumos reads these reviews) for a helmet liner. It didn’t fit and I immediately initiated a return and received a confirmation mail a month ago with status « being reviewed ». Since then, crickets, no change, even when I sent multiple follow up mails (and yes, I checked spam to see if any mails from Lumos). Even sent messages to their social media accounts - nothing. Makes me think you better not buy anything direct from Lumos and hope you can return it. Maybe somebody in Lumos will eventually see this and do something ?

I ordered two Lumos Firefly Charging Cradles, but unfortunately, my package only contained one. The product itself is great, but I am disappointed that the order was incomplete. I hope this can be resolved quickly.

Utilizzo le luci Lumos già da qualche anno, le trovo utilissime per i tragitti casa-lavoro che faccio quotidianamente in bicicletta
The exterior shell on the helmet did not look like it had been bonded properly . I was concerned that there might be other issues which I couldn't see. Helmet returned. Replacement was requested however Lumos have cancelled the transaction subsequently.
It is a much simple part with los quality but very expansive. Why do I Need to bum a new one…because of the Bad quality

Takes forever to charge. The clips that hold the lights in break very easily and I dont see any way of buying more without having to contact their customer service.
This is such a cool helmet. It’s very light weight and very bright. I like that you can customize the lights through the app. I feel like Tron.
It's nice that the helmet offers the option of a peak, but the way this is attached is a bit weak, so that it sometimes ends up flapping around your face.
It also sits on, frankly, a rather sweaty part of the head - after a few months the layers of sponge begin to separate and fall apart.
I am on my third one of these, so guess I am a fan.
